PatchPlus Consulting, Inc., is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Woman-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/WOSB) committed to making a difference to their customers, industry partners, and the Warfighter. Since 2002, PatchPlus Consulting, Inc. has continued to make a difference to warfighters by providing world-class subject matter expertise. 100% of PatchPlus SMEs have served either on active duty or the reserve component, and some continue to serve in the Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve.

KEY WEBSITE FEATURES

RESPONSIVE DESIGN | The previous PatchPlus Consulting website was outdated and not mobile-optimized, which has negatively impacted its Google rankings over time. So, as we developed the design for the new site, we really wanted to focus on the mobile design’s UX to recover from the negative impact. The mobile site is fully responsive, and the UX is very easy to navigate. We completely rebuilt the site from the ground up, giving it a more professional look that accurately represents the level of service excellence consistent with the company.

SEO STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT | PatchPlus had not previously invested in developing an SEO strategy for the website. This gave us a great opportunity to start from scratch and develop a strategy that will help drive traffic from potential customers and industry partners. The previous site did not have an SEO foundation that allowed for accurate Google search indexing, so as we rewrote the content for the site, we made it a huge priority to ensure that each page was structurally sound and easily crawled.

CUSTOM JOB BOARD | This feature of the new website was the most fun to work on. We knew that PatchPlus had previously struggled with promoting job opportunities directly from the website. This meant that most of their recruiting efforts were conducted solely through third-party integrations and other platforms. They wanted to bring the job application process in-house, so we created a custom job board and individual job postings that are fully on-brand and populated by dynamic content. This process makes it very easy for their recruiting team to post jobs that appear cohesive to the user and maintain their brand image. We also implemented a custom job application form that allows applicants to upload their cover letters and resumes which are then routed to the HR department and recruiting team.
